The Wisconsin Grape Growers Association in cooperation with the University of Wisconsin Extension is holding a Wisconsin Grape Growers Field Day, on Thursday, July 30, 2026. The Field Day is hosted by Ziegler Winery. 

The Field Day is open to all grape growers and is a good opportunity to ask questions, learn from experts, and talk with other growers.

  • 9:30 AM: Welcome by WGGA President Adam Rabe & Intro by Shy Ziegler

  • 9:45 AM: Eric Gale-Anchored Roots Vineyard-Crop Estimate

  • 10:15 AM: Planet Earth Agronomy-Soil DNA test results defined w/ solutions

  • 11:15 AM: Walk/drive to vineyard

  • 11:30 AM: Leslie Holland, UW Madison Plant Pathology 

  • 12:00 PM: Josie Dillon, New Extension Statewide Fruit Outreach Specialist

  • 12:30 PM: Walk/drive to Vinyard + Short break

  • 1:00 PM: Delicious Lunch and Wine Tasting (tax and tip included)

  • 3:00 PM: Adjourn

Cost (includes lunch & refreshments):

• $40/person for WGGA members or businesses
• $60/person for non-members
• $10 late fee per orchard/company after July 23, 2026
